June 29-July 8 <3 <3 <3 

I am sick and tired of good, smart tv shows getting cancelled. I feel like TV shows these days are being dumbed down for the American audience. Shows like Jersey Shore and Keeping Up With The Kardashians are renewed till the 15th fucking season but shows like Flashforward (09-10) The Event (10-11) Terra Nova (11-12) and Alcatraz (11-12) get the boot after one season because Americans are too stupid or lazy to watch a show that makes them think. The only show like this that I know of that lasted was Lost (04-10) but I still know plenty of people gave up mid way because they didn’t “get it.” Like really? If you pay attention it’s not hard to follow. Another show that looks promising is Touch (11-present) and I’m happy it’s sticking around. It just seems like this country is getting more and more stupid. The same thing is happening with books. Most people don’t read and those that do read trash like autobiographies from reality stars that contribute nothing to society, or it’s all about sex (Fifty Shades of Grey). There are a limited number of people who read books that are worthwhile, like Dan Brown novels (The Da Vinci Code). I have been fortunate enough to visit Europe in the past and when I was there I felt like I belonged there. Maybe I should move there and give up hope on America. It’s all going down hill from here.

When the series came to an end in July, I knew that this had to be done. It had been three years since I re-read Deathly Hallows.

This will be my third time reading the novels and God only knows the number of times watching the films.

After finishing each book, I watch the movie.

Somehow I am reading other books at the same time, and keeping up with my current tv shows, and working and having a life…which means that HP will always have a part in my life. :D
